Asyad Group, Oman’s global integrated logistics provider, has entered into a Framework Agreement with CMA CGM Group, the France-headquartered global provider of sea, land, air and logistics solutions, to develop, manage and operate a multipurpose logistics terminal in Sohar. The agreement was formalized during the official visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to France and underscores the expanding economic relationship between the two countries.
The collaboration creates a long-term strategic partnership between the two organizations, bringing together their respective expertise and operational capabilities. Through this cooperation, the partners aim to further strengthen Oman’s ports as major global trade gateways, improve operational performance and provide enhanced services to customers throughout the region. The agreement establishes the foundation for a new USD 400 million multipurpose logistics terminal in Sohar.
