Could you briefly introduce Singapore Urban Mobility Week (SUMW) and explain the vision behind the platform and its 2026 edition?
The Singapore Urban Mobility Week (SUMW) is a premier biennial event that brings together global transport leaders, policymakers, solution providers, and industry experts to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of urban mobility.
Jointly organised by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, MSI Global Pte Ltd, and MP Singapore, with support from the Ministry of Transport, the inaugural edition will take place from 4–6 November 2026 under the theme “Drive the Future – Autonomous Innovation, Smart Infrastructure, and Urban Mobility.”
Positioned as a key platform for advancing urban transport and a strategic hub for networking and collaboration across Asia Pacific and beyond, SUMW will feature a dynamic showcase of cutting-edge technologies and solutions, complemented by an expert-led conference exploring forward-looking policies, emerging innovations, and global best practices to drive smarter, more sustainable, and connected mobility.
For exhibitors, what makes Singapore Urban Mobility Week a valuable platform to showcase their latest mobility technologies and solutions to the right decision-makers?
SUMW offers exhibitors a strategic platform to connect with the decision-makers shaping the future of urban mobility across Asia Pacific and beyond. By bringing together transport authorities, policymakers, public transport operators, infrastructure developers, and industry leaders, the event provides direct access to potential customers, partners, and key stakeholders actively exploring innovative mobility solutions.
Beyond showcasing their latest technologies, exhibitors can engage in meaningful business conversations and generate high-value leads through our business matching platform. Additionally, they would also be able to gain insights into emerging industry priorities by participating in the Leaders Summit and Industry Forums.
With Singapore’s strong reputation as a testbed for smart and sustainable urban transport, SUMW also provides an ideal environment for companies to demonstrate how their solutions can address real-world mobility challenges and unlock opportunities for growth in regional and global markets.

Finally, what do you hope exhibitors, visitors, policymakers and transport leaders will take away from SUMW 2026, and what lasting impact would you like the event to have on the future of urban mobility in Asia and beyond?
For exhibitors, we want the event to be a hub that helps them to open doors to new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities, not just in Asia but beyond.
For visitors and transport leaders, we hope SUMW becomes their “go-to” platform that provides fresh insights, practical solutions, and new perspectives to address the evolving challenges of urban transport.
For policymakers, we hope the exchange of ideas and global best practices, the opportunity to connect with industry stakeholders and end-users, will help inform policies that accelerate innovation and build more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient mobility systems.
Ultimately, we want SUMW to be more than a just an event. We envision it as a catalyst to engage the communities across the entire mobility ecosystem to focus on long-term collaboration, connecting people, technologies, and the sharing of ideas across borders to turn innovation into real-world impact.
By bringing the global mobility community together in Singapore, we hope SUMW will contribute to advancing smarter, safer, and more connected transport systems across Asia and beyond, while helping shape a future where mobility improves the quality of life for everyone.
