Over the years, the LTA-UITP Singapore International Transport Congress and Exhibition (SITCE) has successfully established a wide network of peers, this year on 17 November 2020, the SITCE Webinar reached 977 registrants from 40 countries and regions.
The Webinar held two panel discussions joined by a total of 12 senior executives from public transport authorities, operators, and industry providers. The first panel discussed how to increase the resilience of public transport systems and rebuild confidence from customers.
The second panel focused on innovations, especially on finding the resources and adequate mind-set to “dare to try” during a period of such unprecedented uncertainty in the sector. Discussions emphasized that a crisis like COVID-19 has shown how collaborations, communication, an excellent level of care towards customers and employees, as well as innovations play a crucial role towards resilience.
