Law Distribution expands fleet with Asset Alliance Group

AI Summary

A combination of competitive pricing, fast delivery times and quality service levels has seen Asset Alliance Group win a competitive tender with logistics specialist Law Distribution.

The deal for six new DAF XF tractor units will be supplied by Asset Alliance Group on a two-year full-service contract hire agreement. The commercial vehicle specialist was awarded the business following a competitive tender issued by Law Distribution – a business that handles accounts of all sizes including fully managed 3PL solutions.

John Law, Director at Law Distribution, says: “Asset Alliance Group has been able to provide the units we wanted as well as high quality maintenance and support – something we feel needs to go hand-in-hand. Their solution was the most cost-effective and everything has been delivered on time as promised.”

He added: “All our tractor units are DAF so we know these vehicles give us excellent fuel efficiency, which is a major benefit for high mileage work. Driver comfort is also important for us when our staff are driving long distances, and these new vehicles deliver that.”

Three of the new tractor units will run local work during the day and be utilised on the night shift for the firm’s Palletline division, the UK’s premium palletised freight distribution service. The remaining three assets will be part of long-distance work.

Law Distribution will benefit from Asset Alliance Group’s comprehensive full-service contract hire offering, which includes all safety inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs, plus tyre cover and full roadside assistance.

Located between Manchester and Liverpool, Law Distribution is a family run business that has been providing warehousing and distribution services since 1994.
