An Auto-compact system has been installed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi, providing digital vehicle inspections to the Corolla plant.
In December 2021, DeGould secured a deal with Toyota North America to supply Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi with automated vehicle inspection systems. This month, our engineering team have installed an Auto-compact system within the US automotive manufacturing plant to deliver industry-leading vehicle inspections for Toyota.
Currently, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi manufactures the 12th generation Corolla. With an annual capacity of 170,000 vehicles, the plant exports Corollas to customers in Central and South America and the Caribbean. The installation of this DeGould Auto-compact system ensures all vehicles leaving the plant have had an industry-leading automated vehicle inspection.
Our Auto-compact system provides OEMs with a solution that combines intelligent and reliable AI damage detection with a small footprint. Due to the small footprint, systems can be located over production lines and at key handover points. The Auto-compact system can operate as a drive-through system or over a conveyor, allowing OEMs flexibility when it comes to the location of the solution.
