The countdown to Euro Bus Expo continues with the release of its online exhibitor list for 2018, including details of the 28 companies heading up the event’s ever-popular Technology Zone.

Over 9,000 key industry buyers and decision makers are expected to attend across three days (30 October to 1 November), with the NEC Birmingham set to play host to Europe’s biggest bus, coach and mini vehicle trade event this year.

Stronger, smarter, faster

Millions of people across Europe rely on using buses and coaches every day. In the UK, for example, no other public transport comes close to matching the number of passenger journeys taken by bus or coach each year. Getting passengers where they want to go is just part of the journey. Operators that can be quick to adapt to the changing needs and expectations of their customers and staff – particularly when it comes to smart tech – have much to gain.

“There is no stopping the evolution of technology, it’s only going to get stronger and smarter – it’s time to utilise it, because ultimately, it will only make operations stronger and smarter,” comments Michaela Peacock, Innovations editor at Diversified UK, organiser of Euro Bus Expo.

Innovative sourcing and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments is key, and Euro Bus Expo’s Technology Zone is the perfect place to do just that.

“Every new innovation that operators need to know about and ‘utilise’ for their business will be on show this Autumn at Euro Bus Expo – from the latest software solutions to IT equipment and mobile technology, from on-board Wi-Fi and ticketing systems to seamless payments, tracking and navigation,” explains event director Helen Conway.

“For operators looking for the next big thing in bus and coach tech, it’s the unmissable event in Europe this year,” she says.

Technology Zone exhibitors include:

  • 21st Century Technology Solutions
  • Alfatronix
  • Brigade Electronics
  • Dtek Detay Teknoloji Ve Otomotiv San Tic
  • Faltcom U.K.
  • Filmbankmedia
  • Fivebars
  • Icomera
  • INIT

Of course, with almost 300 exhibitors for 2018, tech innovation certainly isn’t limited to one area at Euro Bus Expo  it’s down every aisle. Why not also check out what’s new from B.N.E Electronics, CMAC Group, Coach Multimedia Systems, Digital 2000, DMD Sales, EP Morris & Company, Freeway Fleet Systems, Navaho Technologies, REACT Technologies, SMC Coach Hire, Streamax Technology Co, and ViriCiti BV, amongst others.

Big name speakers
Seeing the next wave of innovations is just part of the event’s long-standing appeal. Visitors also benefit from expert insights, strategies and advice from senior industry figures – including representatives from the CPT, LCVP, TfL, Transport Focus, and a raft of leading operators. The initial Master Class Theatre programme will be available to view on the show’s website next month.

“Euro Bus Expo is a must attend event if you want to keep pace with the changes in products and technologies in our industry,” says Jeff Counsell, MD of trentbarton. Both echoing the sentiments of many repeat visitors.
