RIA celebrates another successful InnoTrans

The UK companies reported considerable interest in their products and services, with enquiries from as far afield as South America, India and Japan.

RIA worked closely with the Government’s Department for International Trade (DIT, formerly UK Trade and Investment) to organise a programme of events to benefit the UK supply industry.

A highlight was arranging a tour of InnoTrans by newly-appointed Transport Minister Paul Maynard MP to demonstrate support for UK exporters. The minister met with47 UK companies during his visit and impressed them with his knowledge and interest.

RIA and DIT also organised a networking reception hosted by the British Ambassador toGermany, Sir Sebastian Wood, which was well-attended by some 250 senior-level delegatesfrom around the world.
