Transport Ticketing Global 2023, 7-8 March 2023, Olympia, London, UK

Transport Ticketing Global 2023, the world’s largest public transport event for smart ticketing and mobility professionals, returns to Olympia, London, on 7 and 8 March 2023.  With a host of new speakers, interactive formats and new exhibitors, the event will showcase the very latest in smart ticketing, mobility solutions and passenger experience.

Talking about new developments for this year’s event, Event Manager Andrew Earle highlighted the momentum the event is seeing post the pandemic.   “After a couple of challenging years for the industry, it’s great to see the energy and buzz around the market and event once again.  As we talk with speakers, sponsors and regular delegates there’s a real sense of invigoration.  We really excited to be welcoming new speakers, exhibitors and partners, as well as long terms supporters. We’re particularly excited to be welcoming delegations from countries that haven’t visited before.  We’re building up to a tremendous event.”

The event provides a wealth of unmissable content, highlighting new projects from across the globe, latest technical innovation and new operating models. Over 100 industry leading speakers will deliver a truly global update.  For the first time, the programme features speakers from South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Columbia.  They join over 35 countries from North & South America, Europe, Southern Africa and South & East Asia all represented on the conference programme.

In addition to the packed agenda, delegates will have the chance to participate in detailed roundtable discussions.  With delegations from Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Saudi Arabia joining visitors from across the globe, these roundtables will enable detailed knowledge sharing amongst organisations planning new ticketing and revenue projects.

Topics include the evolution of open-loop and closed-loop ticketing systems; fare structuring and policy; revenue protection and fare evasion; account-based ticketing; enabling data sharing and analysis; improving the passenger experience; encouraging ridership and mobility as a service.

This year’s show also features a raft of new exhibitors joining the event’s regular supporters.  With new PSPs and providers of solutions for identity management, fare evasion, advisory and mobility-as-a-service, visitors can interact with a wide variety of solutions on what will be the largest exhibition of ticketing technology to date.  With a number of product launches planned, the exhibition will highlight the technical innovation driving the industry forward.

To celebrate successes and innovation in the industry, the event will host the eleventh annual Transport Ticketing Awards.  With a record number of entries this year causing a headache for the judges, the awards are set to be very competitive, but a great celebration of all the work taking place in the industry.  During the evening of 7 March, the most prestigious recognition in the sector will celebrate the smart ticketing and mobility industry’s greatest achievements.
