The highly anticipated IATW 2024 – IATW 2024 8th Info Shanghai International Automotive Innovation Technology Week / NEAS CHINA 2024 12th Shanghai International New  Energy  Automobile  Technology  and   Ecosystem  Chain   Expo  /  CIAIE  2024   18th  Shanghai International Automotive Interior and Exterior Exhibition, organized by Info Convention and Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the China Electrotechnical Society, Shanghai Society of Automotive Engineers, and other prominent industry organizations, successfully concluded on 4th August 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The event, held from August 2-4, marked a significant milestone with its expansive 70,000 square meter exhibition space, attracting 1,075 exhibitors and a record-breaking 63,268 professional visitors, including 3,852 international attendees.

Exhibition Highlights: A Showcase of Innovation:

The  exhibition  presented  an  extensive  array  of  products  and  technologies  spanning the  entire automotive industry spectrum. This included innovations in new energy vehicles, drive motors, electric control systems, power batteries, and technologies for charging and battery swapping. It also covered energy supply solutions, electric braking, steering, and air conditioning systems, as well as interior and exterior design and manufacturing. Additionally, the showcase featured chassis and body systems, driving  systems,  chips,  intelligent  connectivity,  autonomous  driving  technologies,  automotive electronics, wiring  harnesses, seats, smart cockpits, digital grilles,  paints, coatings,  plastic and decorative components, steering wheels, door panels, roofs, body panels, structural components, exterior parts, vehicle lighting, and illumination. The exhibition also highlighted testing, measurement, and  quality  control  equipment,  as well  as  comprehensive  automotive  parts,  applied  materials, processing technologies, smart equipment for digital factories, and various supporting facilities and accessories.

The event was designed to offer a professional platform for direct business interactions, accelerating the full electrification transformation of the automotive industry inline with carbon neutrality goals. It aimed to foster a sustainable automotive industry chain and supply chain while collaboratively building a new ecosystem for green, low-carbon, and sustainable development in the global automotive sector.

Additionally,  the  exhibition  enhanced  global  collaboration  within  the  automotive  industry  and significantly advanced China’s position as a leading automotive powerhouse.

High-Tech Seminars: Exploring the Future of Automotive Technology

The event featured more than ten high-tech seminars that covered a broad range of topics within the automotive industry. These seminars included discussions on new energy vehicle technology, trinity electric systems (battery, motor, and controller), battery charging and swapping, automotive interior and exterior decoration, intelligent vehicles, and flying cars. The event also hosted over a thousand foreign guests from countries and regions such as Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Singapore, Kuwait, Russia, India, Thailand, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Algeria, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Côted’Ivoire, and Israel. This international representation further strengthened global cooperation and exchange, positioning IATW 2024 as a key player in advancing the future of the automotive industry.
