Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: prefecture ‘s Hiroshima , Japan) was placed on the market TESS64 AEROLINE, a bulk-type D / W 63,700 mt equipped with the new AEROLINE technology to reduce wind resistant. Although it covers practically the traffic patterns TESS58 vessels, which are the largest of the TESS series (Tsuneishi Economical Standard Ship) HANDYMAX Series which now has more than 300 boats, this new model is 10 meters more thereby increase the dead weight to 60 000 tonnes and thus provide greater transport efficiency. The sale of these new vessels began, which are the first bulk D / W 63,700 mt of Tsuneishi Shipbuilding to have been designed for shallow draft in respect of the environment.

Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., AEROLINE is a new technology that reduces wind resistance and combines design with rounded corners as on previous models and a new streamlined shape of the bow before the ship, allowing a 10% reduction of resistance wind. The bow front of the boat has been rounded, which gives the boat a sleek and aerodynamic shape.

Designed for low fuel consumption, the TESS64 AEROLINE is not only with the new AEROLINE technology, but also new propellers TOP-GR (Tsuneishi Propulsive Optimized Gear), which allows a reduction of vibration and a better propulsion, and MAKE (Fresh Air Intake System) which increases the fuel efficiency of the engine with a cold air intake directly from outside. Developing a hull shape with a straight stem but offering little resistance, fuel efficiency was increased by incorporating proprietary technologies of energy saving and an electronically controlled engine, which resulted in an increase of 20% fuel efficiency compared to conventional models TESS58.

In addition, the design of TESS64 AEROLINE has pride of performance in real sea conditions (actual operating speed at full load). Although it offers a good fuel efficiency at full load, TESS64 AEROLINE also offers a shallow draft port in accordance with restrictions and is able to carry even higher freight charges, providing transportation capacity 79 000 m 3 and increasing the efficiency of freight charges.

Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.. has expanded its range since the start of TESS64 AEROLINE to meet the stringent needs of customers, and the company intends to increase its volume of orders.
