PTV Group gets ready to join InnoTrans 2016 – the international exhibition for transport technology. InnoTrans is one of the most important global meetings for Public Transport and takes place in Berlin, September 20-23, gathering experts from all around the world. This year’s PTV Groups presence highlights howtransport modelling can help to understand trends and innova-tions in mobility and how they affect cities and its existing infrastructure.

As the world and society is changing, so does traffic and transportation. Sustainability gets more and more important and forces experts to think of out-of-the-box-solutions. It is not about more roads, more lanes or more cars any more. Alternative means of transport and multi-modality are in demand.

At InnoTrans 2016 PTV Group highlights the PTV Visum “schematic line diagram”. The perfect example of its way of working and its benefits are shown in the realisation of the swiss-wide integrated timetable realised by the Swiss Federal Railways.

In addition, InnoTrans visitors will have a chance to dive into virtual reality: special glasses at the company’s stand will provide a 3D environment bicycle tour in PTV Vissim so visitors can experience virtual cities without even stepping outside of the building.

Ralf Frisch, Solution Director Public Transport & Apps invites the InnoTrans audience to visit the PTV booth: “Every two years the industry meets in Berlin to discuss trends and innovations in transport technology. We are looking forward to spending an interesting week, meeting old friends and making new ones. If you find the time, stop by our booth and get in touch to discuss latest developments and future topics.”

Throughout the event, our experts will be available for you at the PTV stand #419 in hall 4.1. Join us to discover how PTV Vision Traffic Suite software provides the ultimate solutions for optimizing all modes of transport at every scale – from strategic planning and traffic engineering to operational planning, real-time modelling and adaptive traffic management.
