Efficient deployment of electric buses, maintenance optimisation for railways and solutions for digital collaboration are the topics IVU Traffic Technologies will be presenting at IT-Trans 2020 in hall 1, booth B3. The leading trade fair for intelligent solutions in public transport will be held in Karlsruhe from 3 to 5 March 2020.

E-ready with the IVU.suite

From charge management and charging times to ranges and route lengths through to depot charging and opportunity charging: With the IVU.suite, planners and dispatch managers tackle highly complex tasks. Even in the standard configuration, extensive automation helps to optimise operational workflows and integrate electric buses seamlessly into planning, dispatch and fleet management. From a single bus to a whole fleet, from mixed fleets to electric-only vehicles – the IVU.suite is prepared for all scenarios.

Optimisation drives efficiency

IVU.rail, the integrated standard system for railways, helps planners and dispatchers to use rolling stock efficiently. The powerful vehicle and maintenance optimisation automatically takes predetermined service intervals and planned maintenance works into account. In the event of disruptions, a suggestion system recommends suitable replacement vehicles and routes. In addition, IVU.rail optimises staff allocation. The system automatically takes qualifications, holidays and requests into account, thus increasing driver flexibility.

Satisfied employees

The right employee in the right place at the right time: The dispatching solution IVU.crew supports the entire personnel dispatch process and ensures that all employees are where they need to be, whether that is driving a train or operating a lifting platform in the workshop. IVU.crew and IVU.pad are closely linked, with the mobile app keeping drivers, customer service advisors and office-based staff in the loop at all times. This way, digital workflows ensure satisfied employees.

IVU Traffic Technologies has been working for over 40 years with more than 600 engineers to ensure efficient and environmentally friendly public transport. The integrated standard products of the IVU.suite map all the processes behind the activities of bus and railway companies: from planning, dispatch, fleet management, ticketing, and passenger information through to the management of transport contracts. In close partnership with our customers, we guide demanding IT projects to success, thus ensuring reliable mobility in the world’s metropolises.
