Malindo Air has selected Aeromobile and Panasonic Avionics to provide phone and wi-fi connectivity options on its Boeing 737-900ER fleet.
Panasonic Avionics will provide Malindo with eXConnect in-flight wi-fi connectivity, while Aeromobile will offer a mobile phone service based on Panasonic’s eXPhone system, says the Malaysian carrier.
These connectivity options, called the “Malindo WiFi†and “Malindo Mobile,†will go online from 18 May on its Boeing 737-900ER fleet.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows that Malindo operates six Boeing 737-900ERs, alongside two 737-800s and 11 ATR 72-600s.
