Fraport Annual General Meeting: Shareholders formally approve the actions of the executive board for the fiscal year 2013 – Election of new members to the supervisory board
The director of Lufthansa MP Peter Gerber and Frank-Peter Kaufmann , member of the State Parliament of Hesse, elected as new members of the supervisory board.
The dividend remains stable at 1.25 euros per share.
At the 13th Annual General Meeting of Fraport AG (AGM), members of the executive board and supervisory board of the Group received formal approval of its shares for fiscal year 2013 by a large majority of shareholders, earning a 99.94 and 99.88 percent respectively of the votes of shareholders. In addition, shareholders ratified the recommendation of the executive and supervisory boards to pay a dividend of 1.25 euros per share for fiscal 2013. dividend shares of Fraport has remained stable since FY2010. Upon commencement of the meeting Annual general, the president of the executive board, Dr. Stefan Schulte , gave part of the business of the board developed during FY 2013 and responded to questions from shareholders during a general chat.
Two new members of the Supervisory Board of Fraport AG were also elected at the annual general meeting following the resignation of Karl Ulrich Garnadt and Jörg- Uwe Hahn of the board. Peter Gerber , CEO of Lufthansa Cargo AG, was elected with 86 , 63 percent of the vote to the Supervisory Board of Fraport, while Frank-Peter Kaufmann , member of the state parliament of Hesse, received 85.88 percent of the vote.
A total of 1,329 shareholders attended the annual general meeting today at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt-Höchst. The annual general meeting was chaired by the chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fraport AG, Karlheinz Weimar .
