Metso to supply automated energy management for Oasis 3 vessel

The vessel is expected to be delivered in mid 2016, will have a total length of 362.15m and will weigh 227,700t.
The Oasis 3 will feature 16 passenger decks, including 2,700 staterooms and will accommodate 5,400 passengers in double occupancy.

Metso marine automation director John Weierud said the world’s largest cruise ship sets high requirements on the automation system, as it will control and monitor the electric power plant, air-conditioning and swimming pools, among other things, around the clock.
