Coach & Bus UK is a magnet for all the UK and Ireland’s major coach and bus operators.  Abellio, Arriva, Bus Eireann, Cardiff Bus, City Sightseeing, Dublin Bus, Edwards Coaches, Eirebus, First, Go Ahead, Lucketts Group, National Express, Megabus, Metroline, Nottingham City Transport, Oxford Bus Company, RATP Dev, Reading Buses, Rotala, The Kings Ferry, Tower Transit, Scottish Citylink, Stagecoach, and Transdev are among the attendees who’ll be packing the aisles at the NEC Birmingham next month, on 2-3 October, to see all the latest new products and vehicles.

The compelling two-day line-up that awaits them includes over 180 exhibitors representing every link of the supply chain (of which 46 will be making their Coach & Bus UK show debut this year) plus over 80 vehicles on display on individual stands, at the Indoor Vehicle Display, the miniplus Area, and the outside Zero Emission Zone.

Show visitors will be among the first to see a host of new innovations – including Donegal Commercial Vehicles’ new luxury minicoach and BKM’s first right-hand drive E4200P electric bus for the UK market.  Yutong’s TCe12 – the UK’s first zero-emission full electric coach – is set to be one of the stars of the show on the Pelican Bus & Coach stand (it’s one of five Yutongs on display).  Head to Arriva Bus and Coach’s stand to see Temsa’s next-generation MD9 midicoach and full-size HD12 luxury touring coach.  Arriva will also be bringing a Van Hool EX15M bought by Bibby’s and a TX Altano to commemorate the anniversary of Sharpes of Nottingham, plus an additional HD12 in New Bharat Coaches livery.

Harris Auto will showcase a record nine vehicles, including smaller coaches like the all-new Crusader, built on the Iveco Daily chassis; a Higer Super 9 rear-engined midicoach; an AOS Visigo midicoach; and the Crusader minicoach and minibus range.

EVM Direct will display six Mercedes Sprinter Minibus conversions, including the latest Grand Tourer, X-Clusive, and Avantgarde models (from 16 to 22 seats), plus the Cityline Low Floor.

Moseley (PCV) is bringing two VDL Futura FHD2s – for Eastons Coaches and Bayliss Executive Travel, two Beulas coaches (a 12.2m Cygnus with 53 seats and a super-high Aura with 59 seats) and an Iveco Daily 70C18 with Indcar Wing midicoach bodywork.

Noone Turas/Brian Noone is displaying the new DAF Powered Turas 900s with 33 and 37 seats, alongside the first Turas 700 29-seater with wheelchair access.  Two Turas 600s with luxury specifications complete the line-up.

UNVI Bus & Coach, Irizar UK, Dawsongroup Bus and Coach, and B.A.S.E will each be exhibiting a trio of vehicles.  Among them will be the new Irizar i4 Integral 13.6m triaxle coach, fitted with 80 3+2 seats for high capacity operation; a new stock ADL Enviro 400 86-seat double deck bus from Dawsongroup bus and coach; and a MOBIpeople Explorer with a newly developed 3.6m high floor option from B.A.S.E. built on a MAN chassis.

Ilesbus, Mellor Coachcraft, PHVC Minibus & Fleet Suppliers (Ford Transit MCA Minibus), London Hire (EV80 Minibus – M1), and Alexander Dennis are also displaying their latest marques and models.  ADL’s range of low and zero emission vehicles at the show include an Enviro200, Plaxton Panorama double deck coach, Plaxton Panther, BYD ADL Enviro400EV battery electric double-decker, and an autonomous Enviro200 (developed with autonomous technology expert Fusion Processing).

There will also be vehicles from a number of exhibitors in the miniplus Area: London Hire (showcasing an EV80 Minibus – M1), TBC Conversions (with a wheelchair accessible Volkswagen Crafter, based on the CR50 LWB Maxi chassis), Q’Straint, NMI Safety Systems, Cogent Passenger Seating, Stanford Coachworks, G M Coachwork, Treka Bus (with a Renault Master-based Everyday minibus), and Nu-Track.
