The South Korea railway administration is investing in bogie testing.
With the Nencki bogie test stand NBT Coach 2 x 250 kN, South Korea will use this type of bogie test stand for the first time.
It will be used at the Honam KTX-Sancheon maintenance depot for the bogies of the KTX II high-speed train. The NBT Coach measures axle distances, air spring suspension and leakage, and also checks wheel load distribution.
Commissioning is to be carried out in August 2014.
