Vix Technology has confirmed this week that it will operate as the Global Ticketing Partner for Transport Ticketing & Passenger Information Global 2015 and its regional events in addition to a longstanding commitment as exhibitor and Platinum Sponsor.

All delegates to the Transport Ticketing & Passenger Information shows will now receive smart card entry tickets, provided by Vix Technology. Visitors will be able to “tap-in” and “tap -out” at entry validators as they move throughout the exhibition and conferencing areas, and incorporating competitions and incentives. The feature will give attendees first-hand experience of ticketing on offer and provides another dimension to their experience.

Attendees to the Transport Ticketing & Passenger Information Global in London on the 27-29 January 2015 will be the first to use the smart tickets, and then this will be replicated as we launch across the regions.

Bryan Simms, Managing Director, UK & Ireland said, ‘Our smartcards will make it easier for delegates to get access to the event and conference rooms – bringing to life a passenger experience and enabling the event team to collect data on ‘load and flow’ just as Vix does for its many customers in the transport market. It’s a pleasure to bring some of our technology to the event for everyone to use.’

Zehra Chudry, Head of Content, Transport Ticketing World Series said, ‘We are delighted to be working with Vix on a partnership which will create a different, innovative addition to our audience experience across all regions. As an industry renowned event which explores how to make the customer journey smoother, we are very excited to ‘practise what we preach’ with the introduction of this smart ticketing element. We constantly look to enhance our customer journey and this partnership has aided us in building critical insight, not only at our flagship event in London but at our newly launched conferences across the globe. Vix has played a key role in supporting our growth internationally and we are really excited to see this in action!’
