The Pure FRN distributorship agreement will be in force for the initial period of 48 months from the confirmed date of commencement and will automatically be extended for successive equal periods unless either party opts not to renew at least six months in advance in writing. Continuity of the agreement shall be conditional upon FRN realizing at least US$20 million (~AUS$30 million) of aggregate sales revenue during the 48-month duration of the sale of equipment provided by Pure.
FRN is a new but fast-growing company. Well established in the hospitality sector, it delivers modern guest experiences through its alliance with SONIFI, and those operations continue to grow.
This distribution agreement for hydrogen vehicles & infrastructure move embodies FRN’s values – purposeful impact, long-term vision, and results-oriented focus – in working with partners and communities, making the work happen.
As per the agreement, Pure will make FRN its distributor agent for South America, and FRN will source products and services directly from Pure in Australia and spearhead distribution and implementation activities throughout the region.
FRN’s mandate will encompass the handling of all customer interactions, logistics, finance coordination, and technology modifications to accommodate regional regulatory needs. At the same time, Pure will offer technical assistance and advice to ensure compliance with performance and safety specifications across all projects.
The distribution agreement for hydrogen complements the company’s substantial distribution presence in North and South America’s primary target markets and comes after an agreement with GreenH2 LATAM – a clean energy corporation headquartered in Mexico City – where Pure was appointed at the preferred supplier of hydrogen equipment, vehicles & infrastructure for two projects totaling US$28 million (~AUS$44 million).
The distribution agreement will include the following products supplied by Pure:
- Heavy-duty hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEVs).
- Battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
- Containerised electrolysers for hydrogen production.
- Hydrogen storage and refuelling systems.
FRN will also send its experienced consultants to enable local implementation and ensure that the project is viable.
Under the terms of the agreement, FRN will be identified as Pure’s preferred partner in its target markets. FRN will have full and independent control of its client base, and any direct interaction by Pure with these clients will be arranged through FRN.
Where applicable, Pure will also refer potential clients within FRN’s designated region to FRN. In addition, Pure will commit to providing FRN with comprehensive technical training where required and regular updates on its product suite, including new product development for marketing collateral in the region.
